Simple Steps to register at Turnitin.com:

• Once you have logged on to the Internet, in your browser type:

http://turnitin.com/static/home.html

• Find the Create a user profile link in the top right corner
• Select Student from the Create a user profile page (it says select user type—click the down arrow until you find student—click student—click next)
• The ID number is  ·     19084520
• The password is: achimore
• Click next
• Type in your email address
• Click next
• Now you need to enter in your own password—this will let you in to your own home page on Turnitin.com
• Think of an easy password to remember and then type it in
• Retype the password you just typed
• If you think you might forget, write your password on this piece of paper

• Now, pick a secret question from the options the page gives you
• Now, type in the answer to that question
• Now, type in your first and last name
• Click Next
• Read the agreement, then click, I agree
• Click end wizard and log in
• You should now be at your home page
• In the top left corner should be your name
• It should say, Welcome Your Name
• In the center of the page should be the name of our class, AP English Literature and Composition 18-19, followed by my name, your status should read active
• Now, please click log out

Simple steps to submit a paper to Turnitin.com

• Once you have logged on to the Internet, in your browser type:

http://turnitin.com/static/home.html

• In the top right corner of the page it should say email address and password
• Type in your email address, then type in the password that you made up
• Click log in
• You should see the name of our class in the center of the page
• Click on AP English Literature and Composition 18-19
• On the left should say the name of the assignment.
• Find the current assignment, but do not click on it. 
• Click on the icon (little picture of an essay) underneath the word submit
• You have two options
• You can upload your essay from your computer or,
• You can cut and paste the text
• Remember to click the SUBMIT button
• Your essay has now been submitted to me.
• The webpage should now give you an image of your document. 
• Now, please click log out, this is located at the top of the web page.
